Morley Interactive takes Texans on a walk in the woods

(DALLAS - January 16, 2003) With a new Web site developed by Morley Interactive, Texans and tourists now can find all the information they need to take a hike in East Texas.

Morley Interactive created a new Internet presence (www.txforesttrailregion.org) for the Texas Forest Trail Region, which includes 35 counties in the eastern part of the state. The site features a new graphic design, community calendar and searchable database of local attractions, such as museums and historical sites.

"From city information to festival dates and outdoor activities, the site makes it easy to plan a day trip, a weekend or an entire vacation in East Texas," said Beth Morley, co-founder of Morley Interactive.

Based in Nacogdoches, the Texas Forest Trail Region is a state agency promoting travel and tourism. It is one of 10 regions, all of which fall under the auspices of the Texas Historical Commission.

"Thanks to Morley Interactive, our Web site visitors now can search for activities and events that suit their personal interests," said Chay Rees, regional coordinator for the Texas Forest Trail Region. "This new functionality, plus an updated overall design, should attract visitors to our Web site and to our part of the state."
